Reset Plumbing Plan Terms and Conditions

Reset Plumbing Service Agreement

This Service Agreement provides coverage for your plumbing system, including water lines, sewer lines, interior plumbing, drainage systems, and water heaters. Reset Plumbing administers this Service Agreement, providing repair and maintenance services as specified. Your Service Agreement consists of these terms and conditions and your Declaration Page, which lists key details about your coverage.

1. Eligibility

Who is Eligible?

Owners of:

Single-family homes
Townhomes
Multi-family homes (with individual Service Agreements)

If you own multiple water heaters or plumbing systems, you must designate which systems are covered at the time of enrollment. Each system or water heater requires an individual Service Agreement.

Who is NOT Eligible?

Owners of:

Homes intended to be moved (e.g., mobile homes)
Properties used for commercial purposes

Note: Properties with pre-existing plumbing issues, shared systems, or defects that existed before the start date of the Service Agreement are also ineligible.

2. Coverage

To receive service, you must contact Reset Plumbing for any covered repairs. Covered repairs refer to operational failures in your plumbing system due to normal wear and tear. You are responsible for any charges that exceed the coverage limit.

What is Covered?

Water Lines: Repairs or replacements of blocked, leaking, or low-pressure water lines damaged due to normal wear and tear.
Sewer Lines: Repairs or replacements of blocked or leaking sewer lines.
Interior Plumbing and Drainage: Includes repair of blocked or leaking pipes that carry fresh water or wastewater inside the home.
Water Heaters: Coverage for broken or failed electric, natural gas, or propane water heaters.
Gas Lines: Repairs for broken or leaking natural gas or propane lines within your home.

Coverage Limitations:

Annual Coverage Limit: The total amount of services covered under this agreement is limited to $1,500 annually. Any repair costs exceeding this limit are your responsibility.
Discounted Rates for Services Above $1,500: For services exceeding $1,500, Reset Plumbing provides a 20% discount on the standard rates for your service area.
Water Heater Replacement: If your water heater cannot be repaired, Reset Plumbing will contribute up to the benefit limit toward a comparable replacement.
Gas Line Repairs: Limited to your primary gas line from the meter to the appliance connections.

Restoration Included:

Reset Plumbing will restore areas disturbed during repairs by filling, raking, and reseeding grass, and patching paved surfaces. Soft landscaping, shrubbery, and decorative materials are not covered.

3. Exclusions

Reset Plumbing does not cover the following:

Damages from accidents, negligence, or acts of nature (e.g., floods, earthquakes, severe weather).
Repairs or replacements due to pre-existing conditions or failures unrelated to wear and tear.
Code upgrades, inspections, or modifications unrelated to the necessary repairs.
Sewer lines or systems that failed prior inspections without repair.
Shared plumbing systems or systems covered by a homeowners’ association.

4. Service Calls

What is a Service Call?

A Service Call is a visit from Reset Plumbing to diagnose and complete a single repair or determine whether the repair is covered.

No fee is charged for making a service call.

How to Request a Service Call:

Call Reset Plumbing at 1-866-642-8007.
A representative will schedule a technician for your Service Call.
Work must be authorized by Reset Plumbing before completion.

5. Term, Cancellation, and Renewal

Term Length:

The Service Agreement begins on the start date listed on your Declaration Page and lasts for 12 months.

Cancellation:

Within 30 days: Full refund, minus any claims paid.
After 30 days: Pro-rata refund, minus claims paid.

Renewal:

Your Service Agreement will automatically renew for another 12 months at the current renewal price unless otherwise specified. Reset Plumbing reserves the right to adjust the price or decide not to offer renewal.

6. Additional Terms

Limitation of Liability:

Reset Plumbing’s liability is limited to the cost of the repair or replacement. We are not responsible for any indirect, special, or incidental damages arising from system failures.

Arbitration:

Any disputes arising from this Service Agreement will be resolved by binding arbitration.
